Our Store Safety Plan
At JCPenney Optical, our top priority is the health and safety of our customers and associates. Here are some of the precautions we are taking.
Associates are regularly screened for signs associated with COVID-19, and have been asked to stay home if they exhibit symptoms or suspect exposure to someone who has. We kindly request that you follow the same self-screening process before visiting our store.
We strive to maintain a distance of at least six feet whenever possible, and from time to time we may limit store capacity to comply with these guidelines. Please help us uphold this standard by limiting the number of people in your party to those who are in immediate need of our services.
Masks are optional for fully vaccinated customers and store associates. However, due to the close-contact nature of optical services, masks may still be required for all customers (regardless of vaccination status) during certain portions of your visit, such as eye measurement and fitting.
We wash our hands regularly, and have hand sanitizer available for customer use in all stores.
Equipment and Surface Cleaning
All equipment and surfaces are regularly cleaned between customer interactions.
Frame Selection Safety
All frames are thoroughly disinfected after each customer touchpoint. We ask that you help us maintain this safety standard by only handling frames that you would like to try on.
